Studsvik Nuclear Pyrolysis system for Uranium contaminated waste from Uranium fuel factories. The waste contains Uranium particles that can be recycled. The waste is processed in batches in a Pyrolysis vessel and gasifies. Pyrolysis gas is combusted is an Incinerator, passes a flue gas boiler and produces steam for process and for domestic heat production. The flue gases are cleaned in a bag house, a wet scrubber with demister and a carbon filter. From the Ashes in the Pyrolysis vessel can Uranium be recovered. 2011
